The specialty on Saturday, May 17 will be round no. 2 of the PA Asphalt Modified Championship Series, plus the late models, street stocks, and thrillers. Open wheel standout, Matt Hirschman leads the series’ standings after winning round no. 1 of the series last month. The Mountain Madness Enduro series will roll back to the speedway Sunday, May 18, for round no. 3 with the 4 cyl, 6/8 cyl. and truck enduro events. Mark your calendars NOW for the June 14th Evergreen Reunion and the 75-lap PA Asphalt Modified Champion Series event. Along with the modifieds, the highlight of the show will be the First Annual Evergreen Raceway Reunion! The EMMR Vintage Cars will be on display, and the late models, street stocks and thrillers will also be in action.Anyone who is a former Evergreen racer, or knows of one that might be interested in participating with the reunion are urged to contact us by email at gjtost@verizon.net, or give Mike a call at (570) 384-3215. Already, quite a few drivers are interested and we would like to have a good group of former racers compiled for the June event way before it’s show time. It should be a great one for the fans and talking about the old Evergreen days with the tracks past legends, PLUS many laps of hardcore asphalt racing!
