Mike Lendyak Down and Dirty to Visit Sundance This Season
By: Gene Ostrowski
February 13, 2010
In conjunction with recording artist Mike Lendyak and his band,
Mike Lendyak Down and Dirty, the staff at Sundance Vacations
Speedway is excited to announce and welcome Lendyak to the track
this season. Lendyak will make appearances this season to help
promote his new CD, plus sing the National Anthem for racing
enthusiasts. Schedule permitting, Mike and his band may perform
live for the speedway fans.
Lendyak just finished a solo year on Carnival Cruise Lines. He
has played every kind of gig imaginable over the years, the last
35 to be exact. Singing is what Lendyak does best and through
out his career he has toured in Europe three times.
He spent a year with “Bullet Train”, a band at the Welk Resort
in Branson Missouri and has played in bands that warmed up for
everyone from George Strait to Ricky Skaggs and the Nitty Gritty
Dirt Band. Lendyak previously played for George W. Bush and was
on the Old Nashville Network.
“I don't think there's a state east of the Mississippi I haven’t
played in”, said Lendyak. “That doesn’t even count many of them
out West”, he added.
His latest song, "Turn Left" has come from a true love for
racing and racing people. The song is available for download
from iTunes and will be played at Sundance Vacations Speedway
this season.
“Honesty and ingenuity are too rare in today’s world” said
Lendyak. And truly as American as baseball and apple pie, Mike's
songs are heartfelt and soulful with a blend of country, plus a
lot of the other types of music.
Mike has been fortunate enough to fulfill his lifelong dream by
performing.
"Mike Lendyak Down and Dirty" is a band of musicians that are
sure to please all ages!
Please stay tuned to
www.sundancevacationsspeedway for the date(s) that Lendyak
will be at the speedway.
