King of the Mountain is North/South Shootout Qualifier

In conjunction with C&C Promotions, the management at Sundance Vacations Speedway is pleased to announce that for the third consecutive season the Modified and Sport Modified “King of the Mountain” winners will earn a guaranteed starting spot in the 8^th annual North/South Shootout at concord Motorsports Park in Concord, North Carolina.

“It’s the third straight season for Sundance and this qualifier and what better race weekend to use than King of the Mountain”, said Sundance’s Chief Steward, Mike Odwazny.

According to the North/South Shootout website, the event is a throwback of sorts with drivers from various tracks and racing organizations joining together for two-days of racing action at one of the fastest half-mile race tracks in the country. Every year, the roster for this annual event reads like a “Who’s Who” of Modified racing.

The action of the North-South Shootout kicks off on November 5^th and continues through November 6th. A complete schedule is available online at northsouthshootout.com.
