Pocono Drift Fest
Drifting in NEPA!!
So we are finally hosting our first drifting event at our local track. It is a slightly banked oval track that is forgiving and fun to link the turns down the straightaway. For beginners and any one not comfortable with the track there will also be a course set up using the pits. This is a big deal to us so please come out and support. The better the turn out the greater the chances of more events and expanding paving into the infield. Dan Basala, Dug Dug, TJ Ras, Madsen, and I have put a lot of effort putting this together and the track is extremely excited to have us. So let’s show this town what drifting is about!

Pricing:
$55 Pre registration (Information on registration will be posted by 7/16)
$65 At the gate
$10 Spectating
Tire Mounting:
At track mounting $15 a pair
(110 Race gas also available at the track)
Media:
All media will sign up at the track and briefed on the areas to be in.
Rules/Registration:
Please follow the same rules as Clubloose www.clubloose.com/clubloose/2010rules.pdf
Classes will be split into 3 and classed on own personal feeling of driving ability.
A: On Track Tandem, fully caged and all safety requirements.
B: On Track SOLO, all safety requirements.
C: In Pits SOLO Course (Beginner/Novice), all safety requirements minus extinguishers but still recommended.
IMPORTANT!! Anyone that registers them self as a B driver and is an obvious danger to themselves will be asked to drift with the C drivers. If any contest to this decision you will be asked to leave the event without refund.

Anyone interested in advertising at the track can contact Dan Basala at (570) 233-9903. Registration will take place at the track the day of the event. Click HERE to print out a waiver for the pit area. This paper must be signed and brought with you to the track. You may also sign the waiver at the speedway. Download event flyer HERE
